Information about the rules for tree-cutting and pruning permits in Lithuania
Before cutting or pruning trees it is important to know when a permit is required. Arbora helps clients navigate Lithuanian legislation and obtain the necessary permits quickly and hassle-free.
When a permit is required
- Saugomų rūšių medžiams privačioje žemėje (įskaitant daugiabučių namų bendrijas)
- Medžiams, kurių kamieno skersmuo ≥ 20 cm urbanizuotose teritorijose (matuojama 1,3 m aukštyje nuo žemės)
- Medžiams, kurių kamieno skersmuo ≥ 30 cm kaimo vietovėse
Svarbu: Saugomų medžių kirtimas ir genėjimas draudžiamas nuo kovo 15 d. iki rugpjūčio 1 d. (paukščių perėjimo laikotarpis), nebent medžiai kelia pavojų gyvybei, sveikatai ar infrastruktūrai.

- For trees of non-protected species
- For invasive species
- For dead, storm-damaged, or fire-damaged trees
- For trees growing on building foundations, roofs, or engineering structures
- For trees in railway protection zones, energy-facility protection zones, or certain reclamation zones
